Man, this month was bonkers! Looking back at all the awesome stuff I did and all the stresses surrounding the Australian visa process, I can’t even believe all of it fit into just 30 days.
So, I originally wrote a long-winded intro to this post while on my flight from Sydney to Manila. Then I devoured Mark Mansons’s new book and decided it was way too whiny and that I should give less f*cks than I let on in it.

This month I learned something very important about dogs that I’m sure is obvious to anyone who didn’t spend the first 30 years of their life entirely ignoring them in favor of kitty cats.
Sydney’s a tricky city to plan your travels for. Thanks to its plentiful waterways, traffic, and one-way streets, getting around Sydney is rarely straight-forward. Throw in the normal weekend track work and bus diversions and, man, it can take ages to get anywhere in Sydney by public transport.

In all my globetrotting, I’ve surprisingly never had a long layover while in transit. Back when I worked corporate jobs with 3 weeks paid leave a year, I always wanted to maximize the time spent at my destination rather than fritter away an extra day in transit.
