I thought for sure I’d spend my month in India obsessing over the amazing food or the colorful markets. Clearly, neither really did it for me. Instead, I found myself being drawn to archways and doors in India.
The ‘Best of India’ photo gallery below is a collection of images I took in March 2013 while traveling in Northern India. I spent most of my time in Rajasthan, culminating in celebrating Holi in Jaipur.
India didn’t even make the original cut when I first started planning my 2013 Asia trip. My initial plan was to do the Everest Base Camp trek in Nepal, then make my way around Southeast Asia for a few months.
