The Redbury is a luxury hotel situated at the famous Hollywood and Vine intersection. Its 57 guest suites are anything but generic, with a distinctly Bohemian flair and a nod to old-world cultures. All suites contain a large HD LCD TV, wireless HD theater dock for streaming media from your devices to the TV, a walk-in rain shower, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a record player equipped with a vinyl collection. Some suites offer views of iconic Los Angeles landmarks, in-suite yoga and spa services, and concierge and car service. The Redbury also has an onsite Middle Eastern restaurant called Cleo, and a cocktail lounge called The Library.

Budget: Motel 6 Hollywood

Less hip and more practical, the Motel 6 Hollywood is a sensible option for those visiting Los Angeles on a budget. The rooms at this budget hotel have been recently renovated and offer free Wi-Fi and morning coffee, a flat screen TV, and either 1 king or 2 queen beds. Discounted room rates are frequently advertised for midweek stays. The Motel 6 Hollywood is less than a 10 minute walk from the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Celebrity Favorite: W Hollywood

Another Hollywood and Vine boutique hotel, the W Hollywood is a glamorous accommodation option for your Los Angeles trip. Rooms at the W contain a window lounge seat where you can comfortably enjoy the views over Hollywood and surrounds, European-style platform beds, and a glass shower. Suites offer the same perks with at least 60% more space, a wet bar, wraparound windows, and a separate living room and/or workspace. Note that Wi-Fi costs $10.95/day per 3 devices. Whatever you do, be sure to make an appearance at the celebrity-soaked rooftop bar pool, WET, where you can relax in a lounge chair or cabana or enjoy the live DJ.

For Families: Magic Castle Hotel

The Magic Castle Hotel is aptly named: with free unlimited snacks, daily continental breakfast, Wi-Fi, and popsicles served at the pool by a staff member wearing white gloves, all these unique perks feel like magic. The hotel is known for its exceptional customer service, garnering high praise by guests on TripAdvisor and winning an award for the Best Guest Relations in California. Bathrobes and slippers sized for both adults and kids, as well as the local weather forecast, are left out each evening during the daily Turn Down service. Single rooms, one bedroom and two bedroom suites are available for booking.
